A battery is used to power the electric motor in a toy car. The battery has a measured potential difference of 1.45V when the motor is not on. There is a potential difference of1.38V  when the motor operates drawing a current of 0.35A.

Calculate the internal resistance of the cell.

The current flow through the internal resistance causes the voltage drop.dV=iR(1.451.38)V=0.35R  AΩRΩ=0.07V0.35A=0.2Ω=200mΩ
