A circle with center at (12,-1) passes through (0,-1) . Find the circumference
and area of the circle in terms of p.
Well firstly we need to find the distance between these two. This is the radius. This turns out to be 12u because there is 12 x wise between them. Now that this is is established finding the area and circumfrence are pieces ok cake. The formula for area is \(Pi R^2 \)And the formula for Circuference is 2PiR. So the answers when you plug in the radius are:
Area= 144Pi \(u^2\)(Units squared)
Circumference: 24Pi u
Hope this helps.
