A spinner has five sectors of equal size. The sectors are labeled 1, 2, 3, 4, and 5. The spinner is spun twice. X is the number of times an even number is spun.

Drag each bar on the horizontal axis to the correct location to create a probability distribution for X.

Possible outcomes

1,1      2,1     3,1    4,1    5,1

1,2      2,2     3,2    4,2    5,2

1,3      2,3     3,3    4,3    5,3

1,4     2,4      3,4    4,4    5,4

1,5     2,5      3,5    4,5    5,5

Number of outcomes where no even is spun = 9...P( that 0 even numbers are spun ) =   9/25 =  .36

Number of outcomes where 1 even is spun = 14   ...P( 1 even is spun) =  14/25  =  .56

Number of outcomes where 2 evens are spun = 2.....P(2 evens are spun) = 2/25  = .08

You should be able to fill in the probability distribution based on this....
