what is B squared if a squared is -10? i need some help my math teacher is stupid wont give us straight answers only ones that make no sense with technical terms and wont explain just says " Your in Honors, you should be able to figure it out yourself " im like thats it im asking online woman idc what YOU say. Please help me out guys, i really need it! Thx!!!!!

if A squared is -10
then A is sqrt(-10) = (sqrt10)i ( this is an imaginary number - you cannot find the sqrt of a negative number in the real math system. Nothing squared = a negative number.)
but that doesn't help much because you have not been given a value of c. So you can't solve even if you use imaginary numbers.

a 2+b 2 = c 2
