the accelleration is positive
Use s = u*t + (1/2)*a*t^2 where s = distance, u = initial velocity = -3 ft/s, t = 3 s and a = +2 ft/s2
i.e. acceleration is positive to the right as labby wrote.
when the acceleration is in opposite direction of the velocity it must be negative ?!! right or not ?
