There are 3 kids ana, beatriz and celia. These statements appear ''Beatriz is the oldest''    ''Ana isn't the oldest''    ''Celia is not the youngest''. Put the 3 kids from oldest to youngest!

B C A

The problem tells you B is the oldest, so B goes first.    B  _   _

There is only two positions left... The MIDDLE and the youngest....

The problem tells you Celia is NOT the youngest, so of the two positions left (Middle and Youngest) , Celia has to be the MIDDLE:    B  C  _

That only leaves ONE spot for Ana.....youngest:   B  C  A

I see where you get at but i have  ABCDE Answear sheet and your answear isn't on there the closest i can get is BAC

These are the answear(s) BAC, ABC, CAB, CBA, ACB.   BCA isn't in and of the possible answears!

It's possible they MEANT to ask that you put them in order of YOUNGEST to OLDEST......BUT they didn't ask that , so there is no answer of your selections that is correct!

I was thinking that maybe they meant, starting from the right as in the the oldest on the right and on the left decending, because in that case the answear would be ACB!

Hi Buubleman,

How come you are posting this primary school question AND a difficult calculus question?

That is crazy!     surprise

I sometimes delve into calculus, just wanted to see if my calculations(answear is correct) though my year is doing this right now and i have finished everything, so i decided to try something more harder. I learned calculus a few months back!
