First, let's combine all like terms and put this in the form of a quadratic equation. We have

3x2+4x+10

 

Now, the descriminant is in the form of b24ac for qudratics in the form ax2+bx+c

 

Thus, we have

 424(3)(10)=16120104

 

So the answer is -104.
