There are 5 quadratics below. Four of them have two distinct roots each. The other has only one distinct root; find the value of that root.

2x^2 - 4x + 8

2x^2 - 12x + 24

-x^2 + 6x + 9

To have 1 root the discriminant will = 0         b2 - 4ac =0     find which one has that, then use Quadratic Formula to find that root.
