Almost the same

The width is ncreased 6 times from 4 to 24.....so  the length will be increased by the same factor....so

6 * 5   = 30 inches

The ratio of the old length to the old width is the same as the ratio of the new length to the new width.

\(\frac54=\frac{\text{new length}}{24} \\~\\ 24*\frac54=\text{ new length} \\~\\ 30=\text{ new length}\)
