Anastasia is grocery shopping with her father and wonders how much shopping is left to do. "We already have 60\%60%60, percent of the items on our list," her father says. Anastasia sees 121212 items in the cart.

How many grocery items are on the list?

I'm assuming that the numbers are supposed to be "60%"   and "12"   ....if so

12  = 60%   of the total items to be purchased.......so....using a proportion, we have

12/60  = N / 100   where N  is the total items  on the list

1/5 = N / 100      cross-multiply

100/5  = N   =   20   items to be purchased

cool cool cool
