   5:6       We need the least common multiple of 4 and 5 (it is 20) to make the B work

                 if we make B 20, an increase of a factor of 5, we must increase A  by a factor of 5 and C by a factor of 4

 

A:  B:   C
25:20:24     25 +20 + 24  = 69 eggs

 

 

 

 

Another way     A/B = 5/4     B/C = 5/6       so   A/B  *  B/C  = A/C     =  5/4 * 5/6 = 25/24   in simplest form 

                                                                  if A = 25  and  C = 24   then   B = 20
