What's the area of a circle if the diameter is 2? Use 3.14 instead of pi. Thanks!

Thank you Maddie that was a really good answer.

Just remember to give the units.

There were no units given in the question so the best you can do is unit2.

Well, the formula for the area for a circle is:

a= π•r².

So, you have to divide the diameter in two to get the radius, which would be one (2÷1= 1). Then, square the radius (1²= 1). Then, multiply that by pi (1 x 3.14= 3.14) and then, you have the area!
