Hi reinout-g (relevant comments from other people are also welcome)

You asked me how did I get the site calc to display formulas.
I just tried to get it to display the quadratic formula. I couldn't get the +- part to work.
Also I don't know if this can be bought back into the forum.
Do you know how to use any of the other buttons?
Thanks
Melody

Hi Melody,

thanks for showing this to me.
I thought you eg. used some kind of [display] [/display] command which made you produce the abc formula.
Since this is an attached image I assume you made a printscreen or something similiar to that?

It is still very useful though to have the abc forumula in a ready state like that

I use the Snipping tool. I think it automatically comes with Windows 7.
I use it all the time. For forum purposes it is always much more convenient than using 'print screen'.
I can just snip the part of the screen that i want.
Like i said. I use it many times every day.

But of course you are right. If we could bring formulas straight in using a forum tool that would be infinitely better.
Maybe we can. Maybe we just don't know how yet.
