In the book of revelations the number 666 is considered 'the mark of the beast'.
That's the reason 666 is considered evil whereas 777 is considered it's counterpart (777 is related to the 7th rest day).
Just like 11 is connected to craziness and 13 to bad luck 666 is often connected to evil.
Now I am curious how you guys went from 666 to route 66?
