Acellular slime molds have many nuclei, but which structure do they lack? (Someone answered with cell walls and I already know that, but the answer needs to be one of these)
A) Chromosomes
B) Spores
C) Separate cells
D) Cilia
Well....if they do not have cell WALLs they do not have separate cells....
I like EPs logic.
I just watched a video on them
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3fp_TBp8RVs
they definitely have Chromosomes and Spores. I don't know about Cilia.
Cilia are for moving cells around.....or for stationary cells , moving gunk over the surface....think about all of the phlegm you cough up during a cold.....cilia on the cells in your trachea move that gunk up and out.....until you cough and taste salt in your mouth !
If you are a smoker you damage those cilia and stuff collects in your lungs.....you have to hack and sputter and cough to get things up...yum.
