Shimmy is correct, but you can rewrite the equation "in terms of x", by solving for x:

c  =  90x + 35

Subtract  35  from both sides:

c - 35  =  90x

Divide both sides by 90:

(c - 35)/90  =  x         or:  x  =  (c - 35)/90

You can't solve the algebra when you have two unknown variables.

you will need to know the value of "c" in order to know what the x is.
