I forget how to simplify equations how do you break down the exponet ^3?

f(2+h)=(2+h)^3-2(2+h)=1

ok first

(2+h) 3

=(h+2) 3

=(h+2)(h+2)(h+2)

=(h+2) (h 2+4h+4)

= h 3 +4h 2 + 4h + 2h 2 + 8h + 8

= h 3 +6h 2 + 12h + 8

This is not the whole question of course, hopefully you can so the rest of the simplifying yourself

I am actually wondering if the question is copied correctly, you have =1 are you sure it is not =0 ?
