can anybody solve -6<2x-4<12 i already know that it is an and statement. i just need help solving it

-6 < 2x - 4 < 12

Get the x alone; add 4 to all three parts:

-2 < 2x < 16

Divide all three parts by 2:

-1 < x < 8
