There is a general rule for logarithms that log_n(a) + log_n(b) = log_n(a*b) so:

18. log₁₀(5) + log₁₀(x) = log₁₀(25) means we can write log₁₀(5x) = log₁₀(25). For this to be true we must have 5x = 25 or x = 5.

See if you can now do 19.
