I Truly Apologize For the Scatter and Unorganzitation Of this Graphs! I appreciate and Love all Help. :) Now Below Is the Question :)

A manufacturer is designing a two-wheeled cart that can maneuver through tight spaces. On one test model, the wheel placement (center) and radius is modeled by the equation (x + 1.5)2 + (y + 1)2 = 9. What is the graph that shows the position and radius of the wheels?

The order of Graphs is D C B and A

Each little dotted square in your graphs has sides of length 2 units.  This makes the radius of the circle in the top graph close to 5 units, so it's too big to be the one described by the equation.

Well, from the equation we can see that the circle is centred at (-1.5, -1) and has a radius of 3.

Can you work out which one it is now?

Can't be the second one from the bottom as its centre has a positive x-value.

I think it's the last one, natasza....although it's a little hard  to tell. Notice that the center is (-1.5, -1)

Then, since the radius is 3, count 3 units up from the center and y =2. Count three unts down and y = -4. The last graph is the only one that has these characteristics...
