This is an amazing calculator, way better than google's free one. I was just curious if there was a way to have the calculator output the steps for how it got to a calculation? It would make my life so much easier... Just as an example, breaking down the steps of solving for a square root.
1. \(\sqrt{200} \)
2. \(\sqrt{100\times2}\)
3. \(10\sqrt{2}\)
Like so.
Thanks.
I don't think it does that type of a thing. I know what you are talking about though. I feel like this site has become more for answering questions than used as a calculator.
Hmmm. That's unfortunate. I would rather have this be less of a photo math-esque site and more like an open source calculator...
My school will probably blacklist it anyway, though. If you find an answer to my original problem, (step-by-step solving of simple functions) let me know.
I think the calculator on mathpapa.com: https://mathpapa.com/algebra-calculator.html is your best bet if it is not blocked yet. Other than that, idrk.
