It is known that you can get any number starting for 8 using only 5 and 3. Is it correct that you can get any number (starting from a certain one) using any 2 numbers? How could you estimate this "starting number"?

No, for example if you used a 25 and a 5 then no matter what you do it will only be a multile of five.  If you have any questions feel free to ask!

I just proved that any number wouldn't work.  There shouldn't be a way to prove it does work if there is proof it doesn't
