Hello Everyone. I have two math problems here and I have answers for them, I just would like to make sure that I am correct. Thanks for all your help, in advance!

1. Which equation represents the function of the graph?

f(x)=sin4x

f(x)=cos1/4x

f(x)=cos4x

f(x)=sin1/4x My answer: f(x)cos4x

2.

Which function is shown in the graph?

f(x)=1/2sinx

f(x)=1/2cosx

f(x)=−1/2cosx

f(x)=−1/2sinx My answer-f(x)=1/2cosx

Am I correct for both? Thanks

Second one :

Notice that if we let the normal sine graph have an amplitude of 1/2 and then  "flip" - reflect - it across the x axis, we get the "negative" sine graph with an amplitude of 1/2

So....the correct answer is

f(x)  = ( -1/2 ) sin (x) Feb 1, 2018
