Since ΔPQR  is congruent to ΔXYZ...............then angle Y  = angle Q

 

And since ΔPQR is right, angle Q is complementary to angle R

 

So angle Q  =  90 - 35  =  55°

 

So angle Y = c°  = 55°

As hectictar so astutely pointed out.....PR should be congruent to  XZ.....however......that means that :

 

tan Q   = 6 / 12  = 1/2

 

And

 

arctan (1/2)  = Q = about 26.56°

 

But  R + Q  should sum to 90, which they clearly don't

 

Mmmmmm.....I suppose this means that my original answer is no good ....LOL!!!!!
