What is the y-intercept and/or slope of these 3 points: (1, 4.5) (2,4) (3, 3.5)

The slope is constant between the three points......y changes by  -1/2  and x changes by 1 so the slope is :    change in y / change in x   =   (-1/2) / 1   = -1/2

And using (1, 4.5) and subtracting 1  from the x coordinate   and adding 1/2 to the y coordinate we get:

(0, 5).......so the y intercept  = 5
