Where do you think \(\sqrt 7\) falls on a number line? (a rough estimate is fine)
Do the same thing for \(\sqrt{77}\) and count the numbers in between.
Hi, I'm not CPhill, but I'll solve it.
√7 is in between integers 2 and 3, so we start from 3.
√77 is in between integers 8 and 9, so thus ending with 8.
3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8
we have 5 integers!
Hope this helps!
oh sorry, my mistake. I think it's my estimate that is wrong.
There are 6 numbers between 3-8 inconclusive. Bruh, my math is horrible!
Sorry for the confusion!
I need to work on my countning. LOL.
