If the median of five numbers is 23, then the set of data has to be [ __ , __ , 23 , __ , __].

The mean is 20, so the sum is 20*5=100.

Now, we just have to find any five numbers that add to 100 with a 23 as one of them. In other words, four numbers that add to 77.

Two examples are 16, 17, 18, 23, 26 and 15, 17, 18, 23, 27.

You are very welcome!
