I do not get how to solve these types of problems. Please provide an explanation along with the answer.
Note that
.134 in base 10 = 1/10 + 3/10^2 + 4/10^3
So...this would indicate that .10101 in base 2 must be
1/2 + 0 /2^2 + 1/2*3 + 0 /2^4 + 1/2^5 =
1/2 + 0 + 1/8 + 0 + 1/32 = [ get a common denominator of 32 ]
16/32 + 4/32 + 1/32 =
21 / 32 = .6562510
