Solve the following by completing the square.
1. x2 – 6x – 4 = 0
answer: x = sqrt13 + 3, x = -sqrt13 + 3
2. x2 + 7x + 4 = 0
answer: x = (sqrt33 - 7)/2, x = (-sqrt33 -7)/2
Solving the following using the Quadratic Formula.
3. 3x2 + 5x – 12 = 0
Answer: x = 4/3, -3
4. 5x2 + 7x = 2
Answer: x = (-7 + sqrt89)/10, x = (-7 – sqrt89)/10
