1.What are the domain and range of the function?

f(x)=^3 sqrt x-1

Options:

Domain: [0, ∞)

Range: [1, ∞)

Domain: [1, ∞)[1, ∞)

Range: [0, ∞)

Domain: (−∞, ∞)

Range: (−∞, ∞)

Domain:  [1, ∞)

Range:  (−∞, ∞)

2.

What are the domain and range of the function?

f(x)=−3x√

Options:
Domain: [3, ∞)

Range: (−∞, ∞)

Domain: [0, ∞)

Range: [0, ∞)

Domain: (−∞, 0]

Range: (−∞, 0]

Domain: [0, ∞)

Range: (−∞, 0]

Thank you!!!!

For the first one the domain and range for that function is the third set of domains and ranges which is

Domain: (−∞, ∞)

Range: (−∞, ∞)

For the second on the equation f(x)=−3x√ is invalid but if it were f(x)=√-3x  the domain and range is flipped.

Using f(x)=√-3x the domain and range would have been:

Domain: (−∞, 0]

Range: [0, ∞)

Im hoping this helps you. ;P
