Let p(x) = sqrt(-x) , and  q(x) = 8x^2 + 10x - 2. What is the domain of  p(q(x))? Your answer will be of the form a <= x <= b. Find b - a .

q(x) will have to be negative         p(x) = sqrt(-x)   to be REAL (rather than imaginary)

8x^2+10x-2    is a bowl shaped parabola

so the domain will be the x values between the roots of   8x^2+10x-2 (this will be the negative area of the parabola)

  Use Quadratic Formula to compute the roots....
