What is: sin^4(0) + 2sin^2)(0)cos^2)(0)-1+cos(^4)(0)

You don't need a calculator for this! :)

sin4(0) + 2sin2(0)cos2(0) - 1 + cos4(0)

 

sin(0) is 0, and 0 raised to any power is 0, so....

= 0 + 2(0)cos2(0) - 1 + cos4(0)

 

= 0 + 0 - 1 + cos4(0)

 

= -1 + cos4(0)

 

cos(0) = 1, and 14 = 1

= -1 + 1

 

= 0
