Change a term or sign so that the equation has the solution x=2 

2(x-3) = 1-(2x-5)

This is really important i'd appreciate the help very much 

if $x = 2$ we have:

$\begin{array}{rcll} 2(x-3) &\ne& 1-(2x-5) \\ 2(2-3) &\ne& 1-(2\cdot 2-5)\\ 2(-1) &\ne& 1-(4-5)\\ 2(-1) &\ne& 1-(-1)\\ -2 &\ne& 1+1\\ -2 &\ne& 2\\ \end{array}$

We must change the sign:

$\begin{array}{rcll} {\color{red}-}2(x-3) &=& 1-(2x-5) \\ -2(2-3) &=& 1-(2\cdot 2-5)\\ -2(-1) &=& 1-(4-5)\\ -2(-1) &=& 1-(-1)\\ 2 &=& 1+1\\ 2 &=& 2\\ \end{array}$
