Yes it's correct, but notice that it is inside the square brackets, outside of which is the t6 factor that divides it.

That's ok, I am sure that you didn't mean to be rude.

You just have to be careful when you are communicating with just print.  People can't see your body language or your facial expressions so it is easy for them to misinterprete your intent.
