Guest: :?: how do i do square root with exponents
Kitty is absolutely correct. Thankyou for answering Kitty
Maybe I can help as well.
A square root is a power of 1/2
So sqrt(49) = 49^(1/2) or 49 ^ 0.5 = 7
sqrt(X) = X1/2 That is why, in Kitty's example
sqrt(3^4) = sqrt ( 3
4 ) => ( 3
4 )
1/2 => 3
(4*1/2) => 3
2 => 9
I hope that this helps.
