There are other ways - this is the easiest.

You need to find 2 numbers that multiply to 70 and add to -17   I'll call them A and B

Now   split -17n into  An+Bn  and replace it in the expression  ( there will be some minus signs there)

Now factorise the first 2 terms and the second 2 terms seperately.

then think about it  and maybe tell me what you have and I will talk you through the last step.

10n2-10n-7n+7

10n(n-1)-7(n-1)

(10n-7)(n-1)

There has to be an easier way.
