Facts About Trapezoids
The degree measure of the four angles add up to 360 degrees. This is actually true of any quadrilateral. Let lower case letters a, b, c and d represent the angles of trapezoid ABCD.
Then: a + b + c + d = 360 degrees.
The corresponding pairs of base angles, such as A and B, or C and D, are supplementary (add up to 180 degrees).
Pasted from the internet.....50 + a = 180 a = 130 152 + ? = 180 ? = 28 degrees
Because the top and bottom bases are parallel, the right side of the trapezoid serves as a transversal beween two parallels.......so the 152° angle and the angle at the bottom right will be consecutive supplementary angles....therefore....the angle at the bottom right will = 180 - 152 = 28°.....just as EP found.....!!!!
