Since this is a cubic answer (power of 3) there will be at most 3 answers.
This is just a bit of background knowledge that it would be good for you to know.

With this sort of question it is important that you start with 0 on the right hand side and everything else on the left. But your question is already set up this way. So this is just another bit of background knowledge.

Now your question
3x 3 -2x = 0

first factorise out the x so that you have 2 factors (only the x is easy to factorise out).

now you know that if two numbers multiply together to get 0 then one or the other or maybe both have to be equal to 0.
It is the same with algebraic factors that multiply to give 0
So you have to put each factor = 0 (and solve each resultant equation) to get all the possible values x
