If you have excel you can use this.

In cell C1 I wrote down the formula for x
2+x-36 but instead of x I wrote cell A1 and I put an = sign in front of it.
If you now go to cell C1 and click and hold the little square in the right bottom corner (your mouse will become a cross) you can drag the formula down for as many cells as you like.
Then in cells A1 to for example A6 you can write down all the values of x.
