Here's just a little... thread?... Yeah, thread, to discuss various mathematical things of interest. I'll kick it off with some of my favorite things:

Hexa-Hexa-Flexagons: Not really math, but...

The Mandelbrot Set: The Mandelbrot Set

Any other fun math, guys?

Hi TG

Here is a video clip that i enjoyed - I just pulled it out of our Reference thread (that is a sticky note)

It is on fractals.  I think that you will like it :)

Thanks for that,  ThisGuy  .......

I''ve heard about the Madlebrot Set - a form of tiling - before.

The hexa-flexagon thing was a new one......!!!

P.S. - If you like such things, you may want to get your hands on a copy of the book, Asimov on Numbers, written by - well, you guessed it - Isaac Asimov. It's not hard to read, and it contains short articles on various math topics.....all of them presented in the  "quirky" style of Asimov.

Hmmm... Asimov seems pretty intersting. I haven't heard of him, but I just glanced at the book you suggested. This should be pretty fun to read. Than you!
