Suppose a local food bank is selling raffle tickets for a fund raiser and claims that each raffle ticket has a 3% chance of winning one of several prizes. Additionally, assume an animal shelter is also selling raffle tickets for a different fundraiser and claims that the chances of winning a prize are 5 in 150. What are the chances of winning at each raffle? Round to 2 decimal places.

If you are talking about separately.....the chances of winning the first is .03 and the chance of winning the second  is about  5/150 = 1/30  = about  .033

If you are talking about winning both, then the answer is   .03 * .033  = about .0099  = about .01 rounded =  1% chance
