A circle has a radius of 6 in.

What is the exact length of an arc formed by a central angle measuring 45°?

Enter your answer in the box. Express your answer using π .

(Please note: I haven't done it in awhile so I apologize for asking)

Circumference = pi * d       or    pi * (2 *r)

Circumference =  pi * 2 * 6 = 12 pi

45 degrees  is    45/360th of the total circumference

45/360  x  12 pi   = 1.5 pi
