1. I'm not an idiot as I know for each point I need to multply by 2. My issue is with the point (2,-6). As we can see, the graph only goes up to 11, not 12. How do I do this then?

The first pair of polygons at the top left are not similar because

18  / 14   =

9 / 7   does not equal to 10 / 7

The pair of polygons at the bottom left are similar  because

18 / 10    =    27 / 15  =  7.2 / 4 = 10.8 / 6  =   9 / 5

The pair of polygons at the top right are similar because they are both equilateral triangles....and all equilateral  are similar

The pair of polygons at the bottom right are similar......each side of the smaller polygon is 3/4 that of its corresponding side in the larger polygon....

The scale factor from EFGH to JKLM is   JK  / EF  =   11.2  /  28  =  2 / 5 =   0.4
