In the larger triangle formed, the angles are 75 - 50 - 55
And in the smaller triangle formed the angles are 50 - 55 - 75
By the Exterior Angle Theorem , x = 55 + 50 = 105°
75 degrees + (the angle next to the 75 degrees) = 180° -> the angle next to the degrees = 105°, so x must also be 105°
The angle opposite to 75 is 75.
