In triangle ABC let the angle bisectors be segment BY and CZ . Given AB = 8, AY = 6, and CY = 3, find BC and BZ.
You could use mass points and do a lot of shenanigans, or you could use a little bit of an intuitive guess.
Upon seeing the numbers 6 and 8, I assumed that angle A was 90 degrees.
