Find 'h' of the isosceles triangle

 

(sqrt 70 )^2 =  (1/2sqrt 28)^2 + h^2

h= sqrt 63

 

Area = 1/2 b h   = 1/2  sqrt 28  sqrt 63         you can finish......

 

 

 

You could also do the Heron's Formula calculations to find area (though it is longer) :
