The square shown is divided into 4 congruent rectangles. If the perimeter of the square is 150 units, what is the perimeter of one of the four congruent rectangles?

Because its a square, each side must have a perimeter of 37.5 meters. 150/4 = 37.5

Now, because the 4 congruent rectangles are divided evenly, it means that one of the short sides of these rectangles are 1/4 of a side. 

In each rectangle we have 2 square like sides: 37.5 x 2 = 75, and 2 1/4 sides. 

It would be 

1/2 of 37.5 + 75

or 93.75!
