Given: The point  is on the Unit Circle.

 

Find: (a) the angle θ, in both radians and degrees that contains that point.

 

(b) sin θ and cos θ.

Those are x and y coordinates on the unit circle.....they are both negative , so it is in quadrant  3

 

sin  = - 1/2

cos  = - sqr3/2

 

7 pi /6    is   210 degrees
