A line passes through the points (-3, -5) and (6,1). The equation of this line can be expressed in the form Ax+By = C, where , A , B and C are integers with greatest common divisor 1 and A is positive. Find Find A+B+C.
From (-3, -5) to (6, 1), the line goes 9 right, and 6 up.
Then the the equation must be y=6/9x-3
9y=6x-27
9y-6x=-27
Yeah umm. It's not very possible with a GCD of 1.
9-6-27=-24
Yay!
EDIT: RIP Varxaax, 2020-2021
Slope = (-5-1) / (-3-6) = -6/-9 = 6/9 ( as varxaax found)
Point slope form becomes (y-1) =2/3 (x-6)
y = 2/3x -3
3y -2x = -9
Yah....well I made a mistake too! Just edited it It's Saturday math .....
