Good morning!
For those who know : happy 15th August to everyone !
and those who don't know: today is India's Independence Day!
Have a lovely day everyone !
Your Welcome Melody!
and India got its Independence in 1947 and this is the 68th Independence Day!
Happy Independence Day, India!!! Aug. 15 is also the Independence Day of Korea!!!!
Wow!i didnt know that!thanks Aziz!and same to you!
and you know what, yesterday was Pakistan's Independence Day!on 14th August!
And congracts for your star Aziz!
Oh, yes, I forgot about Pakistan...lots of celebrations must be going on! Also, thanks!!
yes !lots!and theres high security everywhere today!and the flag was , hosted , parade and all that happened , in the Red Fort!
thats the pic showing the thing!and those are the children of different school who are forming the image!
this is not of this year!this is of last year!i couldnt get any of this years!
Wow, amazing!! Love the colors and the mass participation!! I have never been near the Red Fort area, but anyway, the celebration this year must have been even merrier with the new prime minister!
yes it might have!u know i wanted to see the parade but its i was sleeping at the time when it was going on!lol!
but still there was huge lot near the Red Fort!
i found some more but not of this year!or maybe im just not sure!
and you know Aziz theres very strict choosing of the children!they need to be expert in marching, should be of equal heignt ,shoulder, neck and all and they are made practice atleast 1 month before and are made practice for 3 hours everyday!and they r all from different schools of Delhi!
Ah, very beautiful...like art! The different colors really make a nice impression and the flag that is just made of bodies is incredible (pretty accurate, too!).
Oh, I see. Yes, practice makes perfect . Also, it must be great to come together as one and make the most out of the liberation day! I wonder how long it takes to choose all the right children, too!
I wish i studies in a school of Delhi but i study in Noida and live in Delhi!lol!
but it hink even if i had studies i wouldnt be selected becoz im not that good in marching !lol!
anyways , ive got the pics of this year!heres the link!

aziz its all done months before and children work really hard!and all the ways going through India Gate are blocked as there are practices of the parades going on!
I see. Oh, yes, the number 68 this time and nice canon and close-up pics! The close-ups really do let you feel the emotions and wonder!
The children must be proud to do it for their country so that's good although the work may be tough. It reminds me of the opening ceremonies in the Olympics.
umm yeah!i just found this suddenly!
i think many more pics might be there but just that i havent looked up!
I see. Yes, must be lots on social media websites and other places.
This is not that crucial of a matter, but: Is it just me or do we have to hit enter twice to create a single space...because when I am making a post, I have to create a double space, but it appears as a single space once I see the created post.
and u know , there was a function as well held celebrating the day in my school!its was awesome!
there were dances , singing , acts and many more!
and yes the children might be very happy to meet the PM as well as the new PM he just went between the children with no security and just shook hands with them!this has happened the first time!
Your right!even thats happening with me too and im sure with everyone else!
Sounds very festive, rosala! It must have been extremely fun!
Also, yes, the PM did a wonderful thing meeting children personally without interference...usually so much security would be there for presidents but it just shows how approachable and friendly he can be...
yes!and he just denied for a lot of security!i saw it in the news channel when i woke up!
found some more pics!
kites!
Today there might be a lot of activivties taking place out here!
